We would like to share with you an initiative promoted jointly by Communion and Law and the World of Justice of Umanità Nuova.
It consists of a brief conference which will be held in Castel Gandolfo on the 26th and 27th November, 2016, dedicated to those who work in the field of law and justice, under the heading: "Together, in dialogue: transforming demands for rights into solutions of justice". The participants should join the conference at the dinner on Friday 25th, so as to create already among us a climate of mutual understanding and to be present from the beginning of the program, which lasts only a day and a half.
During those days, we would like to examine our professions and activities, and discover the path which will lead us together to Justice, involving all the "actors" in the multiple relationships that can be affected.
When we informed Emmaus, she replied: "The momentum with which you have embarked together in this activity promises to leave lasting benefits", and she wished that we be a "gift" to one another. With that in our hearts we are working.
The program includes also separate workshops to be held on Saturday afternoon for different sectors of activity (judges, lawyers, court clerks, prison workers, law enforcement) in order to focus the mutual dialogue more effectively.
The conference is aimed primarily at those who already know the Focolare Movement, but is targeted also to newcomers, as long as they are accompanied by someone familiar with the Movement, who can assist them to embrace the proposals of the conference.
We would appreciate your highlighting topics, proposals, suggestions and experiences which can be presented.
